What we offer

The Nasdaq Trade Surveillance (NTS) advisory team combines industry experience with deep technical expertise to support our customers improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their NTS platform. We are passionate about partnering with our customers through tailor made engagements that help customers mitigate market abuse risk by delivering their Surveillance control.

We are looking for a dynamic NTS advisory analyst to join our growing team to delivery NTS advisory projects which focus on our services; Market Abuse Coverage, Alert Optimization, Data optimization and Training.

With this role we offer the opportunity to use your analytical skills to review order, trade, market and/or alert data to provide recommendations to our customers to help drive efficiencies and effectiveness in their NTS platform. The position also requires close collaboration with internal NTS functions to support improvements in the NTS Advisory Service.

What you will do

  • Identify and prepare customer and market data for analysis
  • Perform analysis of data to provide recommendations to improve alert effectiveness
  • Present findings to the technical lead with supporting evidence
  • Support the advisory team in delivering engagement updates to customers including rationale for recommendations
  • Contribute to the production of engagement reports which include the findings and recommendations to optimise the alert and data configuration for the customer
  • Collaborate with Product, Development and Delivery teams to drive improvements to the advisory service processes and toolset.

What We Expect

  • Previously worked within a Linux environment, especially with data extraction and analysis
  • Experience in solving data issues, data conversion, and manipulation
  • Previous experience in a similar position, preferably from a trading/financial services industry
  • Excellent English verbal and written skills

What Would Be Helpful

  • Knowledge of market data, trading data, and protocols (i.e. FIX) would be considered an advantage
  • Scripting and Python experience to enhance the advisory analysis toolset
  • Previous experience working in a globally distributed team

Monthly gross salary: 3000 – 3250 euros, The final salary will depend on candidate's knowledge and experience.
