OUR CLIENT- A South Korean-based crypto trading company, offering advanced trading services through a secure platform. Specializing in Over-The-Counter (OTC) services, the company is expanding its operations across Europe, starting with Lithuania. Focused on providing innovative and efficient solutions for both retail and institutional traders, the company aims to strengthen its global presence and meet the growing demand for seamless crypto trading.

Responsibilities
  • KYC/KYB Oversight: Ensure that proper Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB) processes are implemented during onboarding;
  • Transaction Monitoring: Oversee the transaction monitoring process to identify unusual or suspicious activities;
  • Suspicious Transaction Reporting (STR): Prepare and submit Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) to the Financial Crime Investigation Service (FCIS) in compliance with Lithuanian AML regulations;
  • Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR): Ensure timely reporting of currency transactions exceeding the designated thresholds in compliance with Lithuanian AML laws;
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate AML/CFT risks associated with clients, products, and services;
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the compliance teams to enhance transaction monitoring systems and implement risk-based approaches;
  • Training and Awareness: Provide AML training to employees, ensuring awareness of reporting obligations and procedures;
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all AML investigations, STRs, and related communications for audit and regulatory purposes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in law, Finance, or a related field;
  • At least 1 year of experience in the AML/CFT area;                                  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity;
  • A background in the banking sector is preferred, but fintech startup experience will be subject to positive review.

  • After a certain period of time, there is an opportunity to transition to a full-time position;
  • Salary range (gross): EUR 2,000–2,500 per month for part-time (40-80 hours per month).
