We are looking for a Category Specialist to join Bolt’s Groceries team on our journey to build our grocery vertical and Bolt Markets all over the country and work both with local and HQ teams to achieve our ambitious delivery goals.
Please note that this is a full-time permanent employment opportunity. The monthly gross salary for this role ranges from €2350- €3533 and will depend on your skills, knowledge, and experience.

The Category Specialist will be one of the key members at our Grocery local team and you will be supporting local category management team and collaborating in assortment development and supplier management
Responsible for supporting category management with the product assortment development and the pricing strategy for the country while negotiating with suppliers the best promotions & discounts. On top of that you will work closely with the Country Manager and Category Managers to determine our local pricing strategy, based on analysis of the market and analysis of product sales.
You must be able to thrive in a startup environment, and succeed in navigating ambiguity and competing priorities. High judgment, ability to influence, analytical talent, exceptional communications are essential to success in this role.
<strong>Main tasks and responsibilities</strong></span><strong>:</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">

Support Bolt Market with building ideal product assortment and work cross functionally with Supply Chain Manager to make sure all goods are delivered in the different stores on time.

Support with the Bolt Market pricing strategy development and profitability of the business. Implement local promotions and discounts with suppliers, set prices and support other teams with the sales forecast.

Manage relationships with the suppliers in the market and lead all necessary negotiations.

Identify trendy local products in the market and negotiate with suppliers. Monitor competitors and make price and product adjustments as needed.

Collaborate and work with the Category Managers to identify potential improvement opportunities.
- Achieve projected sales and gross profit objectives.
</span><strong>About you:</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.

1+ years of work experience in Retail Category Management or 1+ years of working experience in Procurement & buying, FMCG, Account Management, Project Management or fast paced start-ups.

Proven negotiating skills, influencing abilities and relationship management experience.

Strong organisational skills including prioritising, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills; experience using data and metrics to test theories, confirm assumptions, and measure success.

Proven ability to identify, analyse, and solve ambiguous problems independently with an exceptional attention to detail.
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.

Excellent communication & written skills in Lithuanian & English.
