We are currently seeking a talented: Business Development Team Leader

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the business development team to identify new business opportunities, expand market share, and drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to attract new clients and grow key accounts in transport, freight, and logistics services.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring long-term collaboration and client retention.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, pricing strategies, and new service opportunities.
  • Oversee the sales pipeline, lead generation, and deal closures, ensuring targets and KPIs are met.
  • Work closely with operations, finance, and supply chain teams to align business strategies with service capabilities.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts, service agreements, and partnerships while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Utilize SalesForce tools, data analytics, and reporting to track performance, forecast revenue, and optimize business strategies.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and business expansion.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 5-8 years in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships within the transport, logistics, or supply chain industry. At least 3 years of team leadership experience is required.
  • Leadership & People Management: Proven experience in leading, coaching, and managing high-performing sales or business development teams.
  • Industry Expertise: Strong understanding of freight, logistics, warehousing, transportation solutions, and supply chain management.
  • Sales & Negotiation Skills: Ability to build relationships, negotiate contracts, and close high-value deals with corporate clients and logistics partners.
  • Market & Strategy Focus: Experience in developing business strategies, market expansion, and competitive positioning in the transport and logistics sector.
  • Financial Acumen: Understanding of pricing models, profit margins, and cost structures in logistics operations.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software, data analysis tools, and digital marketing strategies for business growth.
  • Communication & Presentation: Strong public speaking, proposal writing, and client engagement skills.

We offer:

Base monthly salary: 3290 EUR - 4110 EUR brutto + quarterly bonus system.

Depending on the candidate‘s experience, competencies displayed, and suitability to the position's requirements are able to consider different salary ranges
