Responsibilities
- Be the HR manager for other skilled software engineers, you being accountable for them growing both on a professional and on a personal level. This includes classical HR responsibilities, performance reviews, trainings and recruitment activities;
- Create an encouraging and collaborative environment through inclusive and empowering leadership;
- Define engineering guidelines incl. practices to improve the work of chapter;
- Work closely together with the IT Tribe Lead, Solution Architects, and the other Chapter Leads to ensure we attract, develop, and retain a team of highly skilled and motivated people with a good team spirit;
- Be responsible for your chapter and support chapter members in any need they have related to HR or their area of competence;
- Be part of one of the squads in the Core Payments Platform tribe and delivering towards sprint goals together with your team utilizing various tools and according to Software Engineering practices (CI/CD, DevOps, Java as a chosen language, Test automation practices and AWS).
- You are a catalyst leader and embody that in how you approach the work and motivate others;
- You have a good understanding of IT architecture and hands-on experience with solution design (frequent deployment strategies, containerization, enterprise monitoring and logging, different types of API strategies);
- You have experience in high-profile software engineering projects built with enterprise languages like Java in containerized or distributed architecture;
- You come with strong leadership skills. You have ideally been a leader for some years, with an engineering background;
- High quality standards on your previous software engineering projects which included automated Unit, Integration or E2E tests;
- You are pragmatic and can take important decisions without getting lost in the details;
- You have advanced English language skills and are a good communicator.
