At Danske Bank, the Finance Tribe is pivotal in enabling the efficient management of the bank's financial position and resources. We are looking for a Chapter Lead who will play a dual role—part individual contributor and part team leader.
As a Chapter Lead, you will be instrumental in both driving the technological advancements and leading a team of skilled software engineers. This position is designed for a leader who is equally enthusiastic about coding and management, offering a unique blend of technical and people leadership responsibilities.
You will:
- Develop and ensure the implementation of high-quality code and processes for managing high-volume financial data
- Act as the HR manager for your team, taking ownership for their professional growth, personal development, engagement, and motivation. This includes overseeing HR functions such as performance reviews, training, and recruitment
- Lead the maintenance, design, and development of both new and existing services within our business domain
- Collaborate with other Chapter Leads within the tribe to tackle leadership duties and troubleshoot issues effectively
About you:
- Possess robust skills in managing stakeholders across diverse geographical locations
- Have a great ability to develop and enforce best practices within your team and the broader department
- Leadership skills are backed by a proven history of team management and people development
- Have hands-on experience in designing, coding, reviewing pull requests, and debugging complex applications
- Well-versed in CI/CD, APIs, and Microservices, and understand the best practices associated with them
- Have advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken
We offer:
Monthly salary range from 3920 EUR to 5880 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
