Johnson Matthey IT (JM IT) is Johnson Matthey’s global IT function responsible for ensuring that our IT capabilities are not only able to support and integrate technologies but can also offer insight into future IT tools that could provide us with a competitive edge and improved operating efficiencies.
The role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of a project/product by a cross-functional team. Responsible for tracking and managing the performance of the project and ensuring that governance mechanisms are adhered to. This role will deliver a range of ERP projects supporting business units through the appropriate project lifecycle activities.
• Ensure thorough project team guidance and adherence to all project documentation, including plans, reports, logs, and service introductions.
• Collaborate consistently with cross-functional teams to achieve timely and cost-effective project delivery.
• Coordinate integration of Business Unit requirements into project delivery, ensuring alignment with agreed quality and performance standards set by the sponsor.
• Ensure project delivery complies with JM-IT Project governance frameworks, including timely financial and performance reporting.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards.
• Monitor project performance and adjust course as necessary.
• Utilize the JM-IT Project delivery framework and manage resources effectively.
• Handle project dependencies and contribute to larger programs.
• Identify and manage risks, impediments, assumptions, and dependencies.
• Maintain project budget, resources, and compliance with PMO processes.
• Oversee third-party vendors to ensure delivery aligns with contracts.
• Ensure solutions meet JM policies and security requirements.
• Demonstrate understanding of QA and software development methodologies.
• Manage transition of solutions into BAU support and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Infuse a sense of ownership & pride amongst project team members to deliver high-quality work outputs.
• Institute a self-directed and high-performance culture in the team.
• Minimum 7+ years of ERP Project Management Implementation Experience.
• Project Management qualifications (Prince2, APM, or PMI).
• Experience managing ERP application &/or application migration project implementations.
• Experience managing project financials and realizing benefits to business areas.
• Experience implementing multi-divisional, multi-regional projects and programs.
• Business Change management experience.
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Daptiv skills.
• Service Transition experience (desirable).
• Proven project management experience in product development/IT services.
• Expertise in waterfall, agile, and scrum methodologies.
• Certification in project management (Agile, PMP, etc.).
• Experience with cross-functional teams to drive product delivery.
• Knowledge of market and emerging trends in industrial manufacturing.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
• Excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills.
• Proficient in Programme, Delivery, and Business Change Management, Agile methodologies, Backlog prioritization, Delivery performance, and Audit controls.
• Ability to handle ambiguity and overlapping priorities.
The annual salary offered for this position: from €48,500-€64,000 Annually. The final offer and will be based on candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. This role is eligible to receive a discretionary annual bonus that aligns with individual and company's performance. Other rewards and benefits include the following:
