Position Summary:
As a Finance Business Controller within the Shared Services Center, you will play a key role in overseeing financial operations related to financial and management reporting, ensuring accurate financial statements and compliance to group policies, accounting standards and other regulations. In this role, you will act as a Finance Business Partner, providing insights on financial performance and support strategic and day-to-day decision making, collaborating with different stakeholders within Phoenix group. The position requires a strong understanding of finance accounting, business controlling, procurement, compliance, legal and other relevant business processes.
Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Oversee financial reporting process, ensure compliance to the group standards and reporting requirements.
- Analyze financial and business data, cost drivers and prepare gap analysis.
- Conduct financial reviews and analysis for internal stakeholders, highlighting key insights related to the financial performance and defined Key Performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support preparation and analysis of business cases for various investments and business change projects.

Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budget and rolling forecasting process.
- Collaborate with department heads and senior management to ensure accurate financial forecasting and variance analysis.
- Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts, providing timely insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

Service Recharges:
- Oversee the accurate calculation, allocation, and recharge of shared services costs to relevant business units.
- Ensure that all service chargebacks are in line with agreements, transfer pricing policies and accurately reflected in financial reporting.
- Work with stakeholders to improve transparency and understanding of recharge mechanisms across the organization.

Compliance, Risk Management, Legal, Tax and Transfer pricing adherence.
- Ensure adherence to internal financial policies, corporate governance, and external regulatory requirements.
- Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and insights.
- Ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations, working closely with tax and legal teams to accurately reflect intercompany transactions in financial reporting.
- Oversee matters related to legal and tax compliance, ensuring alignment with internal policies and country regulations.
Key Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: 5+ years of experience in financial controlling, preferably within a shared services or multinational environment.

Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in financial planning and reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Excellent understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost control principles.
- Experience with service recharges and allocation methodologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively partner with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with Office 365 tools and MS Power BI.

Strong expertise in visualization of complex data & KPIs for management reporting.

Certifications: A professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CIMA, ACCA) is considered as a strong advantage.
