We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our company. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our organization, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting within the group. You will play a critical role in driving financial performance, optimizing processes, and supporting business decisions across countries. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented with a strong background in finance and a proven track record of success in a similar role. Work location: Vilnius office.

Your responsibilities:

  • Perform financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting, providing well-founded insights and recommendations
  • Prepare and present financial statements
  • Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Monitor financial performance, identifying and implementing improvements
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls, coordinate and manage external audits, ensuring timely completion
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and oversee tax fillings by coordinating with external tax advisors
  • Manage the consolidation process for multiple business units or subsidiaries within the organization, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of group financial results
  • Organize and coordinate the work of the finance and accounting team
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to understand their financial needs and provide strategic recommendations


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Experience as a Financial Controller, Group Controller, or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and reporting principles, including experience with consolidation processes
  • In-depth understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Experience with financial analysis tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel
  • Effectively bilingual (Lithuanian and English) with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate great sense of responsibility, precision and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
