Job Description
We are looking for an experienced FP&A Specialist to join our Nordics & Baltics Cluster team. The FP&A Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis. This position reports to the FP&A Nordics & Baltics Cluster Lead and involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. The successful candidate will focus on continuous improvement and process enhancement, working alongside the local and cluster finance teams, Regional Finance COE, and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Forecasting:
- Collaborate with finance team & business units to develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Include forecast data from Finance Business Partners and support areas into company forecasting systems; validating planning assumptions & ensuring accuracy of planning inputs.
- Provide additional support to Finance Business Partners during forecast cycles.
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Prepare reports from company forecasting and actual reporting systems to share with local and regional stakeholders.
- Conduct financial analysis, such as profitability analysis, cost analysis, and trend analysis, to support decision-making and identify improvement opportunities.
- Support mid-month sales estimates and monthly close processes.
- Provide additional support to Finance Business partners and Business stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement and Process Enhancement:
- Work with regional colleagues to maintain a consistent and efficient process, sharing & leveraging best practices.
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, improve financial reporting, and enhance data accuracy and integrity.
- Provide system user trainings to new users.
Other Responsibilities:
- Participate in cross-functional projects and provide financial expertise and analysis to support decision-making.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and accounting standards to ensure compliance.
- Financial master data creation and maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and advanced Excel functions.
- Familiarity with financial systems and software (e.g., LPT, BPC, SAP, PowerBI, Planning Dashboards).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong business acumen with an understanding of key drivers of financial performance.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
- Eager to contribute to the creation of a high-performing FP&A team.
