Vacancy: HR Service Team Manager UK

Location: Vilnius (Hybrid)

The HR Service Team Manager is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the GBS HR team within a designated market, to deliver a range of transactional processing and advisory services that support the business and the HR function globally. A key focus is to provide a positive experience for both the employees and people managers for the respective market they support.

There is also an expectation to implement on-going review to meet agreed SLA’s and KPI’s as well as to establish a continuous improvement culture across the team.  This role provides oversight and support from a people management standpoint to all the service delivery teams that support the respective market – be it the Hub teams, BPO and Local HR advisor roles.

Your responsibilities:

  • Ensuring end-to-end delivery of HR administration and transactional processing.

  • Managing extended HR teams, including virtual and BPO teams, and leading local HR teams to develop efficient processes and ways of working.

  • Leading excellent customer service and support to employees and managers, addressing queries on HR policies, processes, and procedures.

  • Continuously pursuing self-service and automation opportunities to provide Tier 1 information to employees and leaders.

  • Defining, communicating, and monitoring relevant KPIs and service levels to ensure effective operations.

  • Acting as the key escalation point for complex cases impacting business outcomes or employee experience.

  • Ensuring strong controls are in place, being compliant with Group and statutory requirements, and managing document retention as per legislation.

  • Interface with stakeholders such as BPO, business leaders, Sector HR, and build strong relationships within the market.

  • Driving a culture of continuous improvement, assisting in the implementation and assessment of changes within the market for HR programs and initiatives.

  • Leading and engaging the GBS market HR team, ensuring clear objectives, development plans, and regular feedback aligned with the company's vision and HR plan.

Requirements for the role:

  • Experience leading people, establishing trust, engagement and accountability.

  • Experience leading change and working in an evolving organization.

  • Good level of Employment Law knowledge preferably about UK.

  • Able to hold challenging conversations.

  • Experience with case management, processes and workflows

Desired skills to have for the role

  • HR professional qualification (e.g. CIPD)/Education in HR is Desired

  • Experience working in a shared service model

  • Understanding of Workday and associated processes
