Join us at Karo Healthcare on our exciting journey. We're currently looking for a AP Accountant for our office in Kaunas.

As a Junior Accounts Payable Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounts payable operations within our growing Finance Center of Excellence (COE) in Lithuania. You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that ensures accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, payment management, reconciliations, and continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process supplier invoices, verify accuracy, classify, and post transactions into the accounts payable subledger.
  • Allocate outgoing payments to supplier accounts and manage payment runs.
  • Follow up on outstanding supplier invoices and ensure smooth approval flows.
  • Reconcile accounts payable subledger to the General Ledger, ensuring data accuracy and timely corrections.
  • Prepare analyses and reports related to accounts payable and contribute to reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes by posting accruals related to accounts payable.
  • Respond to supplier queries regarding invoices and payments, maintaining strong professional relationships.
  • Collaborate with finance colleagues across the organization and support other functions with accounts payable-related requests.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
  • Participate in the transition of accounts payable tasks from other business units into the Finance COE in Lithuania.
  • Contribute to building and developing the accounts payable function and support continuous improvement initiatives.

You have a relevant academic education in Finance/business or similar and an understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting skills. You have a good knowledge of financial processes and have an interest in digital tools and systems. You will be a part of a global community in which fluently speaking and writing in English is required for the role. It is also important that you have good service and communication skills as you will have several contact points, both internally and externally. Furthermore, you are a person with strong problem-solving skills and have an eye for detail.

Key requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree from university or similar in Finance/accounting.
  • 1-3 years' experience from similar roles
  • Language: Fluent in English, both speaking and writing.
  • Experience and proficiency in Excel
  • Experience in using Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable module integrated in ERP software
  • Ability to prioritize and schedule workload
