Vacancy: Senior Agile Delivery Manager

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania (hybrid)

Johnson Matthey (JM) is looking for an experienced Senior Agile Delivery Manager who can contribute to its continued and ongoing digital expansion and growth. We're an agile team working within a well-established team, and you'll be an essential member of the team working closely with the business on a range of exciting projects. You will be developing the high-level Epics with T-shirt estimates, documenting the value of each. You’ll be collaborating closely with Agile business analysts to foster good agile practices. You’ll also attend daily stand-ups with the team to address any concerns and additionally helping the business in functional testing of the stories and Epics delivered. This role will report to the Head of Agile & Product Management.

Your responsibilities:

  • Work with the business and the solution development team to formulate and communicate solution options to the challenges and opportunities for value creation and efficiency. Lead and motivate multiple multi-disciplinary teams, helping them organise and plan their work, ensuring they deliver products and services to meet users' needs.
  • Ensure teams clearly communicate their plans and progress through their plans using recognised agile practices
  • Facilitate clear and timely communication between business, technical and leadership participants in the delivery cycle.
  • Ensure the high-quality definition, analysis, and management of requirements through the requirements lifecycle, and traceability of the value being created and delivered.
  • Oversee team to document requirements clearly as per business needs and ensure all changes delivered are tested appropriately in line with JM standards and meet business needs.
  • Guide business stakeholders\product owners\product managers in the formulation and promotion of the business vision, as appropriate.
  • Analyse current services and business processes; identifying and communicating opportunities to optimise performance.
  • Ensure the impact of business decisions is reviewed in the context of the delivery cycle and the broader digital technology landscape.
  • Ensure business and technical components of the solution deliver to the business need.
  • Take responsibility for tracking business requirements through to business acceptance.
  • Liaising with the business to organise support for the transition of solutions to live use.
  • Challenge and lead new ways of working to achieve a greater level of agile maturity.

Requirements for the role:

  • Ability to manage and oversee product team of 50+ people, including vendors, business stakeholders and development team, and more than £1m annual spend.
  • Ability to break Epics into meaningful User Stories and agreeing User Story prioritisation to deliver high value items early.
  • Knowledge of Safe / Agile / Scrum SDLC processes e.g. Agile, Waterfall, Scrum
  • Experience of documenting requirements in JIRA and Confluence, from the high-level Key features (Epics) breaking them down into manageable user stories with agreed Acceptance Criteria is essential.
  • Experience of working collaboratively with business in a structured development environment in documenting requirements clearly
  • Comfortable having difficult conversations with stakeholders whilst managing their expectations effectively.
  • Strong communicator with ability to articulate complex ideas to technical and non-technical people alike
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical & technical knowledge
  • Ability to identify opportunities and take action to build strategic relationships between one's teams, departments, units to help achieve business goals.

How you will be rewarded:

Salary range for this position starts from 50,500 to 72,000 EUR per year various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.
