Vacancy: Senior Business Intelligence Engineer (SAC-BW)

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania (hybrid)

JMIT provides core operational IT services which power our business and are working in partnership with our business units to develop future technology and business services which will modernise and drive forward JM.

We’re seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer with expertise in SAP BW, SAC, SAC / DWC models, HANA Live, ABAP CDS views. This role will work with data from multiple domains with a focus SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning and Group Reporting in S/4HANA solutions, ensuring accurate and impactful data visualizations and reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP, analytics, and visualization principles, but focusing on working with the business, and execution of hands-on dashboard development.

Your responsibilities:

Focus on Business Value:

  • Drive Business Impact: Build informative SAC reports and dashboards that deliver timely, accurate insights to stakeholders. These insights should fuel improved decision-making and drive tangible business results.
  • Develop Strategic Finance Solutions: Create innovative finance solutions using SAC and SAP BW that optimise financial processes, enhance transparency, and empower informed financial decision-making.

Data Quality & Expertise:

  • Ensure Data Integrity: Champion data quality across the organisation. Review and improve underlying data models to guarantee accurate and consistent data flows, fostering trust in reporting outputs.
  • Knowledge Sharing & Education: Be a subject matter expert on the SAP modelling and reporting landscape. Proactively educate users and business teams on SAC and SAP BW capabilities, fostering self-service reporting and data utilisation.

Technical Proficiency & Innovation:

  • Optimise Reporting Efficiency: Automate testing and data validation processes to streamline reporting workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Embed Analytics in Action: Develop user-friendly Embedded Analytics solutions within S/4HANA leveraging CDS views and Fiori elements, seamlessly integrating data insights into operational processes.
  • Analyse technical and functional integration requirements for reporting requests. Collaborate with diverse teams to determine the most efficient location for each request within the SAP landscape.

Implementation & Collaboration:

  • End-to-End Analytics Implementation: Own the full lifecycle of implementing analytics solutions. This includes understanding stakeholder needs, recommending optimal solutions, designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting innovative data-driven solutions.
  • Communication & Customer Focus: Bridge the gap between technical aspects and business needs. Ensure clear communication, actively listen to customer challenges, and deliver exceptional service tailored to their unique requirements.
  • Testing & Go-Live Preparation: Lead and guide the testing process across various teams. Perform cutover activities and ensure a smooth transition to new reporting solutions during go-live phases.

Requirements for the role:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of SAP ERP Reporting & Analytics Project Implementation Experience
  • Experience in both SAC and SAP BW, demonstrating the ability to design, develop, and implement complex reporting solutions.
  • Showcase a strong understanding of data modelling principles and techniques for optimising data structures and facilitating efficient data analysis.
  • Comprehensive understanding of SAP Finance functionalities, including Reporting, Analytics, SAC integrations, General Ledger Accounting etc.
  • Highlight strong communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical aspects and business needs. Effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of integrated technical design concepts of Reporting & Analytic principles within a Global organization
  • Methodological, high attention to detail with rigorous and disciplined approach.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships between teams & departments.

How you will be rewarded:

Salary range for this position starts from 48,500 to 75,000 EUR per year depending on various factors such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.
