What you'll be doing

You will be responsible for high-quality financial services delivery. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in accounting, excellent English skills. It is an exciting role with great responsibility. The position also involves liaising with the auditors, operational teams and finance controllers. We also expect you to have a big picture view and a quick understanding of the client needs. In addition, the project is on the path of continuous improvement, so we also expect the candidate to integrate continuous improvement in a daily job.

How you'll spend your day

  • Taking responsibility for the complex accounting and financial reporting.
  • Controlling and coordinating the monthly closing process and other accounting processes.
  • Liaising with customers, (tax) advisors, lawyers, auditors and other professionals.
  • Mentoring junior staff on all accounting matters.
  • Offering professional solutions and advice to colleagues and clients.


You'll be successful if you have

  • University degree in Accounting/Economics/Finance/ Mathematics/Business administration or similar.
  • At least 2.5 years of professional experience in accounting, experience in similar positions would be an advantage.
  • Fluency in English (both spoken & written), Lithuanian would be considered an advantage. 
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and best practices.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, proactive approach. 
  • Experience working with multiple customers would be considered as an advantage.
  • Good time management and planning skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership and responsibility.
  • Good MS office skills different ERP systems experience would be an advantage.
  • IT savviness and the ability to foresee and engage the reporting and accounting process improvement would be an advantage.

Salary

3100-3600 EUR/month gross (before tax), negotiable based on your competencies, skills, and experience.
