Freedom to make your own decisions, ability to review and improve current system architecture, team processes. Freedom to introduce new technologies that would lead to better product quality. In the long term - option to switch to Go lang and build data-intensive services. Ofcourse, with all of this comes responsibility, thus, each new idea will have to be approved by the team and company’s PEs and tech. Managers, each change will have to be measured to identify whether it brought desired results.
Your day-to-day:
- Develop and maintain API-based applications using PHP and related technologies.
- Integrate diverse company applications and third-party services.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
- Work with databases, write complex queries, and optimize database performance.
- Follow best practices and adhere to company coding standards.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of new projects and features.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the applications' robustness and scalability.
Your experience & skills:
- Strong PHP 8 skills, experience with Symfony or Laravel frameworks.
- Understanding of OOP and RESTful APIs.
- Awareness of software design patterns.
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
- Experience with PHPUnit or other automated testing technologies.
- Proficiency in Git, including branching, merging, and pull requests.
- Basic understanding of Docker and containerization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and continuously improve.

Salary:
- Gross salary: 3150-6950 EUR/month. Keep in mind that we are open to discussing a different salary based on your skills and experience.
