The role of a Transfer Pricing Controller / Specialist involves managing, monitoring, and supporting all aspects of transfer pricing compliance and documentation across the group. This position plays a key role in ensuring that intercompany transactions comply with local tax regulations, international tax guidelines, and internal policies. The role will support reporting, documentation, and transfer pricing analyses, as well as contribute to continuous process improvement within the Finance Center of Excellence (COE).
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Preparation and review of transfer pricing documentation (Local Files, Master Files, Country-by-Country Reports) in collaboration with external advisors and local finance teams.
- Support in transfer pricing calculations, recharges, and adjustments on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Assist in monitoring compliance with global transfer pricing policies and local tax requirements.
- Work closely with tax, legal, and finance teams across the business to ensure accurate and timely reporting of intercompany transactions.
- Contribute to the design and review of transfer pricing models and methodologies to align with changing business structures and regulatory requirements.
- Support transfer pricing audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries from tax authorities.
- Assist with the analysis and preparation of benchmarking studies and financial data to support transfer pricing positions.
- Monitor regulatory changes in transfer pricing and communicate potential impacts to stakeholders.
- Contribute to process documentation and support continuous improvement in transfer pricing processes within the Finance COE.
- Participate in projects related to system enhancements, process automation, and data quality improvements for transfer pricing reporting.
- Be part of building and developing the Finance Center of Excellence (COE) in Kaunas and shaping transfer pricing processes.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of professional experience in transfer pricing, international taxation, or a similar role, preferably within a multinational environment or a consulting firm.
- Strong understanding of OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines and local tax regulations.
- Experience in preparing transfer pricing documentation and working with intercompany pricing structures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret large sets of financial data.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar); experience working with transfer pricing modules or tax reporting tools is an advantage.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external advisors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
- Experience in working within a shared service center or Finance Center of Excellence (COE) is a plus.
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and compliance.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
