We are currently looking for a motivated and experienced: Head of Transport Operational Analytics to join our dynamic team.

• Lead the transport operational analytics team, setting the strategy and vision for data analytics in the transport function.
• Develop and implement advanced analytical models to optimize fleet management, route planning, transit times, and fuel consumption.
• Analyze large datasets to provide insights on transport performance, efficiency, and key trends.
• Collaborate with transport and logistics teams to identify areas for improvement in processes, transit times, and overall operational effectiveness.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to transport operations and present reports to senior management.
• Drive the use of predictive analytics to forecast demand, capacity needs, and potential bottlenecks in transport routes.
• Ensure alignment between commercial and transport teams by providing regular insights and analytics support.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process optimization, and service improvement through data-driven decision-making.
• Support the implementation of new transport management systems and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by training teams in the use of data and analytics for operational decision-making.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in transport/logistics operations and data analytics, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools.
• Excellent understanding of transport operations, route optimization, fleet management, and cost-efficiency strategies.
• Ability to work with large datasets and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
• Experience with predictive analytics and transport management systems (TMS) is highly desirable.
• Results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Monthly salary ranges from 3000 EUR to 4100 EUR gross (the specific salary offered will depend on the candidate‘s experience, competencies displayed, and suitability to the requirements of the position.).
