Job Description

We are currently looking for the Lead Renewable Energy Operator who would oversee the Shift day-to-day activities of the ROC team, ensuring efficient monitoring, fault resolution, and compliance with operational standards. This role bridges the gap between team members and management, providing guidance and maintaining operational excellence. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

Team leading: supervise and guide the operations team during daily activities, emergencies, and shift transitions
Overseeing real-time operations: manage the live monitoring and remote control of wind and solar assets to ensure reliable, efficient, and timely system performance
Managing incidents: lead emergency response coordination and post-incident reviews to enhance operational resilience
Complying & Reporting: ensure regulatory compliance, maintain accurate logs, and report operational events to management
Training & Developing: drive onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development of operations personnel
Improving processes: lead continuous improvement initiatives and support integration of new technologies and projects.

Qualifications

Higher education in engineering or related field
Relevant work experience in remote power generation and renewable energy monitoring
Previous control center or dispatch experience
Strong technical understanding of plant systems and SCADA operations
Knowledge of functional system interactions and ability to pay attention to critical elements in a complex and regulated environment
Availability for 24-hour on-call duty to meet obligations to the Operations Team as issues arise
Fluent in written and spoken English
Strong process orientation and a structured mindset, with a clear focus on ensuring adherence to established procedures, policies, and standards
Able to lead, support team development, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
